When the deck goes wrong.

A diagnosis library for skateboard builders. Start with the symptom, then work backward through veneer, adhesive, alignment, mold contact, pressure and cure.

Diagnose 001

Voids at the rails

Check veneer width, glue coverage, mold closure and whether the laminate is being asked to bridge unsupported space.

Diagnose 002

Springback

Look at cure time, adhesive behavior, moisture, layup and the geometry the deck is trying to recover toward after release.

Diagnose 003

Uneven kicks

Verify mold registration, stack alignment, thickness consistency and whether the pressure path is symmetric.

Diagnose 004

Delamination

Investigate glue coverage, contamination, open/assembly time, pressure contact and cure before blaming the veneer.

Diagnose 005

Twisted blank

Separate mold/alignment problems from storage, moisture and uneven laminate behavior.
